PROJECT BRIEF:
This is an existing building used as a nursery school. The objective was to reimagine the facility as an assisted living home for elderly residents in Orkelljunga, Sweden.
The nursery school is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a lake across the street. The structure itself is made of three individual pods connected by an indoor courtyard. One pod consists of two stories.
The goal of this project is to provide adequate space for diverse activities, promote safe physical activity, and employ natural wayfinding through flooring and architectural elements.
